Susana Valente is a recording engineer, video editor, and director living in Vancouver, BC.

Susana was raised in Montreal, Quebec and studied music from an early age. She continued studying music in college, and then McGill University where she completed her Bachelors in Music followed by a Masters Degree in Sound Recording.

Susana moved to Vancouver shortly after her Masters Degree and got recruited by the Canadian Broadcasting Company, where she learned most of her video skills and perfected her audio skills.

She took time off from CBC to work in Europe where she freelanced for many orchestras and ensembles including Northern Sinfonia, Finland Symphony and BBC.

Today, Susana works with many ensembles, festivals and music societies including the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (video directing), Early Music Vancouver, Vivaldi Chamber Choir, Vancouver Westcoast Music Society.
